Head of Human Resource
Since joining LOLC in 2017 as Senior Manager of HR and Admin, Mr. Umair has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and performance. His contributions played a key role in driving organizational success, and his dedication has been reflected in his impressive 97% performance rating.
In recognition of his achievements and leadership abilities, Mr. Umair was promoted to Head of HR in October 2022. He successfully completed the Fit & Proper Test as required by the Prudential Regulations for Microfinance Banks (MFBs), further validating his expertise and commitment to the role.
As Head of HR, Mr. Umair continues to lead with a focus on excellence and innovation, shaping the future of HR at LOLC through his strategic insights and dedication.
We proudly celebrate the success of Shafiq Yousaf, who began his journey with LOLC Microfinance Bank in 2019. Over the past five years, Shafiq has successfully navigated challenges and achieved remarkable milestones. Starting as an Area Manager, he steadily advanced to his current role as Regional Business Head. His journey is marked by a focus on personal growth, team accomplishments, and valuable contributions to LOLC.
Area Recovery Manager
Abbas’s five-year journey with LOLC Microfinance Bank, from Area Manager to Regional Recovery Manager, has been marked by outstanding achievements in collection and recovery. His efforts have been pivotal in driving results across the North Region.

Lahiru’s exceptional journey with LOLC began in August 2019 when he joined as Senior Manager Business. Upon his arrival in Pakistan, he took on the role of Regional Business Head, playing a key role in the development of the Islamabad Region. His dedication and achievements led to his appointment as Head of Assets in April 2022. By October 2023, Lahiru transitioned to lead the Liabilities function as Head of Liabilities, where he continues to drive transformation.
Throughout his tenure, Lahiru has focused on surpassing expectations, both for himself and his team. By emphasizing positive reinforcement and recognizing every effort, he has not only achieved personal milestones but also contributed to LOLC’s growth on both the credit and liabilities sides, helping to redefine the bank’s potential.
