Position Overview:

Highly skilled and experienced Officer/Sr. Officer Internal Audit are required to conduct financial, operational and procedural audits of the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform audit activities as per Annual Audit Plan or as directed by Team Lead to ensure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of audit activities.
  • Perform compliance, and as needed financial and operational audits, confidential special projects, on-site field audits and support fraud investigations.
  • Develop and demonstrate visionary skills in the performance of assigned audit activities.
  • Provide assistance to team lead, regulators and external auditors.
  • Enhance professional/business relationships and the communication and transparency of Internal Audit activities and results.
  • Prepare audit working papers and maintain audit evidences.
  • Develop audit recommendations that are relevant, complete, and accurate for complex audit assignments.

Education & Experience

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant discipline. May also hold professional certification (i.e. CA (Part Qualified), ACCA or ICMA)
  • 2-3 year’s relevant experience

Skills Set for the Position

  • Acute understanding of the financial, regulatory, operational and/or accounting aspects of commercial lending and private banking.
  • Ability to converse with management to participate in risk assessment, scope definition, and development of the most effective audit approach.
  • Complete knowledge of and familiarity with banking compliance regulations and other Banks’ operational policies.
  • Exceptional strategic and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Proficient in MS office.
