Mr. Farooq Rashid
Mr. Farooq Rashid brings over 25 years of rich experience working in Microfinance Industry as well as Commercial Bank. Prior to joining Pak Oman Microfinance Bank, he was one of the key member of senior leadership of NRSP Bank where he was instrumental for integration and execution of several business and operational strategic plans. He has also worked at Mobilink Microfinance Bank and Askari Bank Limited at various senior positions. His core strengths includes but not limited to branchless, consumer and corporate banking. Mr. Farooq Rashid holds an MBA degree from Brenau University, USA and BBA degree from Kennesaw State University, USA.
Mr. Chamika Wijewarnasooriya
Mr. Chamika Wijewarnasooriya has more than 23 year of experience. Prior to joining POMFBL he was associated with LOLC Holding PLC where he has led the development and implementation of the multiple transformation project. He is a specialist in designing, planning, policy formulation, organizational structure and product development of rural/urban microfinance. He has extensive hands on experience in the development and management of large microfinance and development programs.
Mr. Chamika has also worked in organizations of repute like Pan Asia Bank, Amlak Finance PJC and Hatton National Bank PLC. In these reputable organizations for more than 11 years Mr. Chamika has max out his capabilities in handling SME Financing, Corporate Financing, Retail Banking and International Trade Financing.
Mr. Chamika holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration from ICFAI University – Sri Lanka and Masters in Human Resource Management from University of Kelaniya. He also holds Diploma – Certified Management Accountant and is a Fellow Member of Institute of Bankers of – Sri Lanka.
Mr. Gration Joseph
Mr. Gration has around 19 years of international experience in the field of finance. Prior to joining LOLC Microfinance Bank, he was associated with LOLC Holdings PLC. Mr. Gration holds an MBA degree in International business from the University of Colombo and an MSc in Project Management from Asia University Malaysia. He is also a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants [CIMA] United Kingdom.
Ms. Shehar Bano
Ms. Shehar Bano brings with her around 5 years of experience in the field of Company/Secretarial affairs. Prior to joining LOLC Microfinance Bank, she was associated with the National Disaster Risk Management Fund and MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co B.V. Ms. Shehar Bano holds a Law degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)
Mr. Lahiru Kodituwakku
Mr. Lahiru Kodituwakku is a Banking professional with more than 15 years of experience in the felds of Business Development, Marketing, SME Banking, Consumer Banking, Liability Business, Credit & Operations in Branch Banking in Multi-National & Local Banks in Sri Lanka.
Prior to joining POMBL in August 2019, Mr. Lahiru was associated with HSBC Sri Lanka & Nations Trust Bank PLC Sri Lanka.Mr. Lahiru Kodituwakku was initially obtained on secondment from LOLC Holding PLC, Sri Lanka to strengthen the Individual Lending Products of POMFBL.
Mr. Lahiru Kodituwakku holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Asia-e-University in Malaysia. He is an ACIM Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing-UK. He also holds Professional Advance Diploma in Human Resource Management from EIPEL Campus-Sri Lanka.
Mr. M. Umair Sabir
Mr. M. Umair Sabir is a seasoned HR professional with over 13 years of progressive experience in the Banking and Financial sector. He possesses in-depth expertise and understanding of complex HR matters: HR Policies & Procedure, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Engagement, and Employer Branding, Rewards & Retention. Prior to joining POMBL, Mr. Umair Sabir was associated with ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited. Mr. Umair Sabir holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources & Development Strategies.
Mr. Sultan Muhammad
Mr. Sultan Muhammad brings with him 20 years of diversified experience in Microfinancing as well as Commercial Banking. Prior to joining POMBL in April 2022, Mr. Sultan was associated with U Microfinance Bank Ltd, he has also worked with organizations of repute like Mobilink Microfinance Bank, Bank Al Habib Ltd, and International Marketing & Trading Company Pvt Ltd and Population Council (International NGO). He holds Masters of Business Administration and M.Sc in Economics.
Mr. Muhammad Adnan Amir
Mr. Muhammad Adnan Amir is a seasoned Internal Audit professional with over 17 years of experience in the financial service industry. Prior to joining LOLC Microfinance Bank, he was associated with the Khushali Microfinance Bank Ltd.
He is the holder of two globally recognized audit certifications, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors-USA and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA-USA). He also have Certificate in Accounting and Finance (CAF) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Mr. Adnan also holds a banking diploma from The Institute of Bankers Pakistan and an Executive Diploma in Islamic Banking & Finance from the Alhuda Centre of Islamic Banking.
Mr. Faraz Basheer
Mr. Faraz is the Head of the IT department since May 2020. He has a rich experience in the IT sector and possesses expertise in Infrastructure development and project management in Srilanka. Prior to elevation to the position of Head of IT, his services were obtained on secondment from LOLC Holdings PLC, Srilanka. He led the setup and implementation of core banking system as well as IT’s infrastructure. His total career span is now over 15 years. Previously he worked in various reputable organizations in Srilanka. Mr. Faraz Basheer holds MSc in Technology Management Program from staffordshire University, UK.
